Product Description
Stop opening boxes with your house key.
The box on the porch, the loose screw on the cabinet, the bottle with no opener in sight. The MOCA 10-in-1 Multi-Tool handles all three from your keychain. It's a single piece of hardened 420 stainless steel the size of a key: 2.67" long, 0.5 oz, with a bottle opener, box opener, pry tool, screwdriver, hex bit driver, three wrenches and a 2" ruler. It slides onto any standard keyring, or loads inside a Keyport Pivot alongside your keys so it rotates out like one. No blades, no moving parts, nothing to break, and priced like a keychain rather than a toolbox.
- Ten tools in the footprint of a key. Bottle opener, box opener, scoring tool, pry tool, screwdriver, hex bit driver, 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" wrenches, and a 2" ruler, all cut into one flat plate.
- One piece of hardened steel. Cut from a single plate of hardened 420 stainless steel with no hinges, springs or screws to loosen. Available in brushed silver or black PVD.
- Works on any keyring. A 5/32" hole fits standard split rings and carabiners, and the flat rectangular profile sits flush with your keys instead of sticking out like a key-shaped tool.
- Made for the Keyport Pivot. Loads inside a Pivot 2.0 or Pivot 1.0 like a key and counts toward the Pivot's 2 to 8 key and tool capacity, so your multi-tool fans out on the same pin as your house key.
- Built to fly. No blade means the MOCA is generally allowed through airport security, though screening agents have final say. Our TSA guide to keychain tools covers the details.
A Keychain Multi-Tool the Size of a Key
Most small jobs happen when the right tool is somewhere else. The delivery box gets opened with a house key and comes back with a bent tip. The wobbly cabinet handle waits a week for a screwdriver. The bottle gets opened on a counter edge. None of these need a toolbox. They need a tool that's already on you.
A full-size multi-tool solves that only if you carry it, and most people don't, because it's another heavy object in the pocket. The MOCA takes the opposite approach: it's flat, it's the size of a key, and it lives on your keys, so it goes everywhere your keys go. It's the core idea behind our minimalist EDC guide: carry fewer things that each do more.
Every edge does a job. The box opener and scoring edge cut tape, zip ties and cord. The pry tool lifts lids and staples. The screwdriver and hex bit driver handle loose screws, and the 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" wrench cutouts grip the small nuts and bolts on bikes, furniture and gear. The bottle opener is there when the party forgot one, and the 2" ruler is etched along the edge for quick measurements.
It's cut from a single piece of hardened 420 stainless steel: 2.67" long, 0.59" wide, 0.100" thick and 0.5 oz. With no hinges, springs or blades, there's nothing to loosen, break or sharpen, and stainless steel resists corrosion through years of daily carry.
On a standard keyring it rides like one more key. Inside a Keyport Pivot 2.0, it stacks with your keys and other Pivot inserts and rotates out on the Pivot's 90-degree click, then folds back flush and silent. Want more on the outside? The Pocket Flare 2.0 flashlight snaps onto one side of the Pivot, and a faceplate finishes the other. It also makes an easy stocking stuffer for anyone who carries keys, and the Custom Engraved MOCA adds a laser-engraved design to make it personal.
What owners say: "The tool takes up a similar amount of real estate to a key so it doesn't add a lot of bulk to a key chain." And: "Use it a couple of times a week for opening boxes, tightening a bolt, etc. Fits right in on the keychain."
Every order can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and material defects are covered under Keyport's warranty.
