COOKIES

A "cookie" is a small text file that a Web site can place on your computer's hard drive in order, for example, to collect information about your activities on the site or to make it easier to use certain site functions. The cookie transmits this information back to the Web site's computer. Many users do not know that "cookies" are being placed on their computers when they visit Web sites. If you want to know when this happens, or prevent it from happening, you can set your browser to warn you when a Web site attempts to place a "cookie" on your computer.

Cookies allow you to place an order on our website and allow us to enhance and personalize your online surfing and shopping experience. For example, we use cookies to:

We also use cookies to analyze how visitors, in the aggregate, use our website, in order to make our website as useful as possible for them. We do not use cookies to collect or store personally identifiable information. We may also use a third party web analytics service provider that uses cookies and web beacons to help us analyze how users use this website and the effectiveness of our marketing search terms. INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED BY OUR WEBSITE

Our servers automatically collect certain non-personally identifying information, such as your computer's IP address, the type of browser in use, and pages viewed, when you visit our Sites. We use this information to understand how visitors navigate through our website, to enhance your experience while using our website, and to make the materials we post as valuable to visitors as possible. INFORMATION FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES
Chipolo ID and Name

When you activate OmniFob's Bluetooth locator powered by Chipolo, that Chipolo’s unique identifier (or Chipolo ID) will be associated with your account. If you choose to name your OmniFob Chipolo, this information will also be associated with your account.

Location Information

OmniFob is designed to control your IoT devices and to tell you where your items are. In order to do that, it’s necessary to collect data about your location. We use the term “Location Information” to refer to the combined location data of your phone or device, and your OmniFob Chipolo.

While the app is running on your device, it periodically transmits your Location Information. This allows us to show you, on your map, the last place your OmniFob Chipolo was seen by your device. It is one of the primary ways Chipolo helps you find your lost items.

Both Keyport and Chipolo may also collect and update location information for your OmniFob Chipolo(s) "anonymously" (i.e., we will not disclose your identity to the other user and not disclose the other user's identity to you) from other Chipolo users who are running the app within Bluetooth range of your device. We do this to provide you with the most recent and accurate location of your OmniFob Chipolo, even if it is out of your devices’ Bluetooth range. The Location Information associated with your OmniFob Chipolo is never made available to these users.

If you use a computer, phone, or other device in relation to the Services, we use the IP address of that computer or device to determine an approximate location. We do this so that we can provide you with a better, more-personal experience.

We may also use your Location Information to promote the Services or provide you with personalized offers. However, your Location Information is never shared with other users unless you choose to share it through our Services.

This includes information such as your device’s model, operating system type and version, types of requests, and the dates and times of your requests.
